Iván Fandiño
Iván Fandiño Barros (; 29 September 1980 – 17 June 2017) was a Spanish bullfighter. He died when a bull named Provechito gored him during a bullfight at Arènes Maurice-Lauche, the bullring in Aire-sur-l'Adour in the Southern France, south of France, only 343 days after fellow Spanish bullfighter Víctor Barrio had met the same fate. Early life Fandiño was born in Orduña, Biscay on 29 September 1980 to parents whose roots lay in A Coruña. Although there was no bullfighting background in his family, he became interested in bullfighting at the age of 14 after standing out as a Basque pelota, pelota player in his youth. Barros, Asturias
Barros is one of eight parishes (administrative divisions) in the Asturian city of Langreo, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain and a parish of the same name. It is located between the districts of Riaño and La Felguera. General information The expansion of the city of Barros is due to the industries of La Felguera and the exploitation of coal, and the loss of population after the re-conversion of the mining basins to industrial industries, with a population of less than 800 today. Lisa Barros D'Sa (born May 1974) is a film director, writer and producer. Barros D'Sa studied English at University of Oxford and holds an MA in Screenwriting from London University of the Arts. Ramón Barros Luco
Ramón Barros Luco (; June 9, 1835 – September 20, 1919) was President of Chile between 1910 and 1915. Barros Luco was born in 1835 in Santiago, Barros Luco was son of Ramón Luis Barros Fernández and Dolores Luco Fernández de Leiva. He graduated from Law School in 1858. He died in Santiago in 1919. He was elected representative for the city of Casablanca in 1861, and from then on occupied a seat in the Lower House, being elected representative for Caldera (1867–70), Curicó (1870–73), Valparaíso (1873–76, and 1888–91), as well as for Santiago, during four separate terms, between 1876 and 1894. Pía Barros Bravo (born 20 January 1956) is a Chilean writer, best known for her short stories. She is associated with her country's literary Generation of '80. Biography Pía Barros left Melipilla, the city where she grew up, "without sorrow", together with "a good girl's destiny and the memory of the mare to which, from the age of seven, she told her poems." She moved to Santiago to study pedagogy in Spanish. Luis Barros Borgoño
Luis Barros Borgoño (; March 26, 1858 – July 26, 1943) was a Chilean politician who served as Vice President of Chile in 1925. Born in Santiago, he was the son of Manuel Barros Arana and Eugenia Borgoño Vergara. He graduated as a lawyer in 1880, held a position in the Supreme Court in 1884, was Minister of War and Navy on three occasions (1890, 1892 and 1895–96), was Minister of Foreign Affairs twice (1894 and 1918) and Finance Minister in 1901. As the conservative candidate in the Chilean presidential election of 1920, he faced the liberal Arturo Alessandri and was defeated by a very slim margin.
