Frances "Frankie" Mann (June 13, 1892 – June 23, 1969) was an American actress, who appeared in over forty Silent film, silent films between 1913 and 1925. Early life Frances Hampton Mann was born in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, and raised in Massachusetts, the daughter of Robert Mann Jr. and Alice Eloise Mann. Her grandfather, Robert Mann Sr., founded an Axe manufacturing in Pennsylvania, axe company, the Mann Edge Tool Company. Her father, a financier, lost his fortune in the economic Panic of 1907, and died in 1910. Career Mann was an actress and appeared in over forty silent films made between 1913 and 1925, with various studios. She was often cast as a "vamp", or temptress character. "Time after time she turned to the camera to register a vampire's sneery smile, and believe me this was awful," reported one reviewer in 1916. Pat Harmon
Plummer Hull Harman (February 3, 1886 – November 26, 1958), known professionally as Pat Harmon, was an American film actor. He appeared in more than 130 films between 1920 and 1947. In 1935, Harmon was the victim of a violent assault which resulted in serious facial injuries, and on August 29, 1935, he was sentenced to serve two-to-10 years in Folsom Prison after being found guilty of stealing a horse. After the incidents involved, Harmon's film career ended as he never appeared on screen again. He was born in Lewistown, Illinois and died in Riverside, California. James Pier Mason (February 3, 1889 – November 7, 1959) was an American actor. He appeared in more than 170 films between 1914 and 1952, often as a villain or henchman in Westerns, and was sometimes credited as Jim Mason. A memorable performance was in 1920's ''The Penalty (1920 film), The Penalty'' as the drug-addicted criminal who shoots Lon Chaney, Sr., Lon Chaney's character Blizzard in the final moments of the film. Biography He was born in Paris, France, on February 3, 1889 to James Kent Mason and Katie Evelyn Pier.
