Baridhara Lake
Baridhara () is an upscale residential area in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is located on the east of and northeast of Gulshan across Gulshan-Baridhara Lake. It has special zones designated for diplomats, and many of the city's foreign embassies and high commissions are situated here. There are mainly three areas: a diplomatic zone in the southwest portion, a general residential area in the eastern portion, and an adjacent DOHS area in the northeast portion. Economy US-Bangla Airlines has its headquarters in the Baridhara Diplomatic Zone. US-Bangla Airlines () is the largest airline in Bangladesh by fleet size. It is headquartered in Dhaka and based at Shahjalal International Airport under the umbrella companies of US-Bangla Group. Shahnaz Rahmatullah (; 2 January 1952 – 23 March 2019) was a Pakistani and later Bangladeshi singer. Her notable songs are Prothom Bangladesh, ''Prothom Bangladesh Amar Sesh Bangladesh'', ''Ekbar Jete De Na Amar Chotto Sonar Gaye'', ''Je Chilo Drishtir Shimanay'' and ''Ek Tara Tui Desher Kotha''.
