Bare As Bones
Backstabbers Incorporated (sometimes called Backstabbers Inc. or BSI, and previously known as Life Passed On) were an American hardcore band based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. History Backstabbers Incorporated was formed as Life Passed On in the late nineties by Matt Serven (guitar) and Ryan McKenney (vocals). In 2000, a lineup changes prompted the band to change their name to Backstabbers Incorporated. Brian Serven joined around this time. They have released albums for Black Market Activities (distributed through Metal Blade) and Trash Art! Records in addition to some splits and EPs on smaller DIY labels. The band has gone on several US tours, including a short tour in January 2005, and a more extensive East Coast Tour from October to December 2005. In 2006, the band embarked on a European tour during August and September. Since a short tour in March 2008 around ''Dudefest'', the band has largely been inactive. Black Market Activities (BMA) is an American independent record label that was founded in 2003 by Guy Kozowyk, the frontman of the Boston, Massachusetts-based extreme metal band the Red Chord. History Black Market Activities was started with the stated goal of releasing records by bands that are pushing the boundaries of extreme music while keeping a friendly artist-centered attitude that steers clear of a lot of the "major label" business-like dealings that tend to hurt and exploit bands. The founder of the label being an extreme musician himself, he can more easily relate to the issues that are important to the bands on the label, and attempts to balance the business and art aspects of the music world. A demo (shortened from "demonstration") is a song or group of songs typically recorded for limited circulation or for reference use, rather than for general public release. A demo is a way for a musician to approximate their ideas in a fixed format, such as cassette tape, compact disc, or digital audio files, and to thereby pass along those ideas to record labels, producers, or other artists. Trap Them
Trap Them was an American hardcore punk band formed in Salem, New Hampshire in 2001. They released five studio albums and five EPs, including a split EP with Extreme Noise Terror. History Trap Them began in 2001 as a side-project for Ryan McKenney, who at the time was the vocalist of Backstabbers Incorporated and Brian Izzi, a brief second guitarist for Backstabbers Incorporated and consistent member of December Wolves. The pair first met as employees of Newbury Comics in Salem, New Hampshire. They took the band's name from the 1977 film by Joe D'Amato called ''Trap Them And Kill Them'', known also as ''Emanuelle E Gli Ultimi Cannibali'' and ''Emanuelle and the Last Cannibals''.
