Lake Bardwell is a lake in Ellis County, Texas. The lake was constructed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers in 1965. Lake Bardwell is not used for military operations, and is accessible to the public for recreational purposes; it has seven facilities, but the state public ramp is closed. __TOC__ Description Lake Bardwell, located completely within Ellis County, is about 45 miles south of Dallas, 10 miles southeast of Waxahachie, Texas, Waxahachie, and 5 miles south of Ennis, Texas, Ennis. Bardwell Park, New South Wales
Bardwell Park is a suburb in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The suburb is located 12 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district and is part of the St George area. Bardwell Park is in the local government area of the Bayside Council. Bardwell Valley is a separate suburb, to the east. History Bardwell Park was named after free settler Thomas Hill Bardwell who owned land in the area. His grant was originally heavily timbered and bounded by Wolli Creek, Dowling Street and Wollongong Road. In 1881, the land was auctioned and were subdivided. The railway station opened on 21 September 1931 which opened up the area for home sites. The school opened in September 1943 and the post office opened in May 1946. Up until 2016 it was the only suburb in Sydney not to have traffic lights. Bardwell Valley is a suburb in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Bardwell Valley is located approximately 11 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Bayside Council and is part of the St George area. Bardwell Park Railway Station
Bardwell Park railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the East Hills line, serving the Sydney suburb of Bardwell Park. It is served by Sydney Trains' T8 Airport & South Line services. History Bardwell Park station opened on 21 September 1931 when the East Hills line opened from Tempe to East Hills. In 2000, as part of the quadruplication of the line between Wolli Creek and Kingsgrove, through lines were added on either side of the existing pair. On 22 April 2015, the station suffered significant flooding due to inclement weather, with the flood water nearly reaching the height of the platform. A time lapse video of CCTV from the station was released publicly showing the rising flood water. In early 2024, Minister for Transport, Jo Haylen, announced a station upgrade for Bardwell Park station, set to be completed in 2026. Bardwell Mill is a Listed building, Grade II* listed tower mill at Bardwell, Suffolk, Bardwell, Suffolk, England, which is under restoration. History ''Bardwell Mill'' was built in 1823. It worked by wind until 1925 and then by a Blackstone & Co, Blackstone oil burner (engine), oil engine until 1941. The mill was derelict in 1978 but was later purchased by James Waterfield, who completed the restoration of the mill in 1985. The mill was sold to Geoffrey and Enid Wheeler in July 1987. On Great Storm of 1987, 16 October 1987, the mill was tailwinded when one of the gears in the fantail drive system became disengaged. The result was that the windshaft sheared at the rear of the canister, bringing the sails crashing to the ground. Restoration work began again in 1989 but was hampered by limited funds. Bardwell is a home rule-class city in and the county seat of Carlisle County, Kentucky, United States. The city was formally incorporated by the state assembly in 1878.
