Bardish Chagger
Bardish Chagger (born April 6, 1980) is a Canadian politician who has served as the member of Parliament (MP) for Waterloo since 2015. A member of the Liberal Party, Chagger was the minister of small business and tourism from 2015 to 2018, Government House Leader from 2016 to 2019, and the minister of diversity, inclusion and youth from 2019 to 2021. Chagger is the first woman to serve as Government House Leader. Chagger is known for her role in the WE Charity scandal, which ultimately led to her removal from cabinet. In the 2025 Liberal Party of Canada Leadership, Chagger declined to endorse any candidate in the race, despite almost 50 of her colleagues in the Ontario caucus declaring their preference in the race. Andrew Peter Telegdi, PC (born András Telegdi; May 28, 1946 – January 23, 2017) was a Canadian politician. He was a Liberal Member of Parliament in the House of Commons of Canada from 1993 to 2008, representing Waterloo and the successor riding of Kitchener—Waterloo.
