Barbara Mitchell
Barbara Mitchell (4 October 1929 – 9 December 1977, Kingston Upon Thames) was an English actress who became a familiar face on British television in the 1960s and 1970s, best known for her work in many classic sitcoms of the period. Career Mitchell started out as a stage actress, and gained a foothold in television with a number of appearances in popular shows in the 1960s. In 1970, she got her first leading TV role, as Ruth, the daughter of the title character ( Irene Handl) in the gentle comedy '' For the Love of Ada'', which ran for four series and 27 episodes, followed by a spin-off film. At the same time, she was appearing periodically as Mrs. Abbott, the absurdly over-protective mother of would-be tough guy Frankie ("Mummy's little soldier"), in '' Please Sir!'' and its sequel '' The Fenn Street Gang''. Northampton
Northampton () is a market town and civil parish in the East Midlands of England, on the River Nene, north-west of London and south-east of Birmingham. Tony Caunter
Anthony Patrick Caunter (born 22 September 1937) is a Retired British actor best known for his role as Jack Shepherd in the Yorkshire TV sitcom ''Queenie's Castle'' and also his portrayal of Roy Evans in '' EastEnders'' from 1994 to 2003. The second son of Annie Mary and Roy Hobert Caunter, Caunter attended Worthing and Westcliff High Schools, before service in the RAF and training as an actor at LAMDA. Caunter has an older brother, Roger. Caunter's mother died when he was 11 years old. Caunter is married to Frances Wallace and has four children. They live in East Sussex. ''The Larkins'' is a British television sitcom which was produced by ATV and aired on ITV. It aired for four series between 1958 and 1960. An additional two series (with format changes) aired from 1963 to 1964. Breast cancer is cancer that develops from breast tissue. Peggy Mount
Margaret Rose Mount OBE (2 May 1915 – 13 November 2001) was an English actress. As a child, she found acting an escape from an unhappy home life. After playing in amateur productions, she was taken on by a repertory company and spent nine years in various British towns, learning her craft. In 1955, she got her big break in the comic play '' Sailor Beware!'': she created the leading role in a repertory production and, though unknown to London audiences, was given the part when the play was presented in the West End. She became known for playing domineering middle-aged women in plays, films and television shows.
