Banu Goshasp Nama
Bānu Goshasp ( fa, بانو گشسپ) or Goshasp Banu is an important heroine in Iranian mythology. "Goshasb Banu" in Encyclopedia Iranica] She is the daughter of Rustam and the wife of the hero Giv. She is mentioned in several Persian epics including the Banu Goshasp Nama. Rudaabeh
Rudāba or Rudābeh ( fa, رودابه ) is a Persian mythological female figure in Ferdowsi's epic Shahnameh. She is the princess of Kabul, daughter of Mehrab Kaboli and Sindukht, and later she becomes married to Zal, as they become lovers. They had two children, including Rostam, the main hero of the Shahnameh. Etymology The word ''Rudābeh'' consists of two sections. "''Rud''" and "''āb''", "''Rud''" means ''child'' and "''āb''" means ''shining'', therefore means ''shining child'' (according to Dehkhoda Dictionary). Faramarz
Faramarz ( fa, فرامرز) is an Iranian legendary hero (''pahlavan'') in Ferdowsi's ''Shahnameh'' ("Book of Kings"). He was son of Rostam and at last killed by Kay Bahman. Giv (Shahnameh)
Giv or Gev ( fa, گیو) is a legendary Iranian knight and one of the main heroes in the New Persian epic poem of ''Shahnameh'' (Book of Kings), the national epic of Iran. A member of the House of Karen, he is the son of Godarz, brother of Roham and father of Bizhan, as well as a descendant of Kaveh the Blacksmith. Giv also appears in another New Persian text, the ''Banu Goshasp-nama'', where he marries Banu Goshasp, the daughter of the mythological warrior Rostam. The character of Giv is most likely based on a historical figure—the father of the Parthian monarch Gotarzes II (). Goudarz ( fa, گودرز) is one of the main Iranian heroes in Shahnameh, the national epic of Greater Iran, and progenitor of one of its most prominent families. He is son of Kashvad, father of Giv and Roham and the grandfather of Bizhan.
