Banu Alkan
Banu Alkan (born Liz Remka Rebronja; 1 july 1958) is a Turkish-Croatian actress. She was born into a Bosniak family from Sandžak and moved to Edremit, Balıkesir, Turkey in 1966 when she was eight years old. She is described as an "80s pop culture icon of Turkey". ''İşte Benim Stilim'' (previously aired as ''Bu Tarz Benim'') is a reality competition show in Turkey. The show is hosted by Öykü Serter. The jury members on this show are Nur Yerlitaş, Ivana Sert, Kemal Doğulu, Uğurkan Erez, and Kerimcan Durmaz. The influential fashion designer Nur Yerlitaş later decided to withdraw from the seventh season of the show due to her illness. Show format Female contestants, compete each week in front of a judge to get points on their style. The contestants have to come up with a different outfit, each day from Monday to Friday to get the fashion star. On the final day of the week, called "Gala Gecesi", they have to dress, according to a fixed theme to win a prize and style points. By the end of the day, a total of points is presented, and the contestant with the lowest score gets eliminated. Şerif Gören (, 1 July 1944 – 8 December 2024) was a Turkish film director. Aside from important films under his own signature, he was also the winner of the Palme d'Or ("Golden Palm") award in Cannes Film Festival in 1982 for the film '' Yol'', which he had directed on behalf of Yılmaz Güney, who at the time was serving a prison sentence for the murder of Yumurtalık judge Sefa Mutlu. Gören started his film career as an editor, and then continued as an assistant director to Yılmaz Güney. He and Güney started directing ''Endişe'' (''The Anxiety'') in 1974, in the beginning of which Güney was arrested and sent to prison. Gören continued directing the film, which makes it the first film directed by him. ''The Anxiety'' was a successful movie which won six awards at the 12th Antalya Film Festival in 1975 including Best National Film and Best National Director. Taksi Şoförü
Taksi (Manchu: ; ; 1543–1583) or posthumously titled as Emperor Xuan was a Jurchen chieftain and father of Nurhaci, founder of the Later Jin dynasty, and the fourth son of Giocangga. A member of the House of Aisin-Gioro, he was killed in an attack on Gure (古哷 ''Gǔlè'') by a rival Jurchen chieftain Nikan Wailan in 1583. Taksi had nine recorded children. Nurhaci was the first born son and also the most highly achieved. It seems like several of Nurhaci's brothers had names that closely resembled his phonetically. The Seven Grievances issued by Nurhaci claimed that the Ming dynasty killed Taksi for no reason. This caused Nurhaci to declare war on the Ming, which eventually led to the destruction of the Ming and rise of the Qing dynasty. During the reign of the Shunzhi Emperor, the court of the Qing dynasty retroactively gave Taksi the temple name Xianzu (顯祖) and the posthumous name Emperor Xuan (宣皇帝).
