Bankhead (MARTA Station)
Bankhead is an elevated subway station in Atlanta, Georgia, the western terminus of the Green Line (MARTA), Green Line in the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system. Bankhead station is located in the Grove Park Neighborhood due to a recent neighborhood expansion. This station primarily serves the neighborhoods of Grove Park, Bankhead, Atlanta, Bankhead, West Lake, Howell Station, and other Westside residents. Ashby (MARTA Station)
Ashby is an underground subway station in Atlanta, Georgia, serving the Blue and Green lines of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system. It incorporates the use of split platforms, where the westbound platform is on the upper level and the eastbound platform is on the lower level. This is to facilitate the Green Line's split toward Bankhead, immediately west of this station. BeltLine
The Atlanta Beltline is long multi-use corridor on a former railway corridor which encircles the core of Atlanta, Georgia. The Atlanta Beltline is designed to reconnect neighborhoods and communities historically divided and marginalized by infrastructure, improve transportation, add green space, promote redevelopment, create and preserve affordable housing, and showcase arts and culture. Cobb County

Bankhead Highway
The Bankhead Highway was a United States cross-country automobile highway connecting Washington, D.C., and San Diego, California, San Diego. Donald Lee Hollowell (December 19, 1917 – December 27, 2004) was an American civil rights attorney during the Civil Rights Movement, in the state of Georgia. He successfully sued to integrate Atlanta's public schools, Georgia colleges, universities and public transit, freed Martin Luther King Jr. from prison, and mentored civil rights attorneys (including Vernon Jordan and Horace Ward). The first black regional director of a federal agency (the EEOC), Hollowell is best remembered for his instrumental role in winning the desegregation of the University of Georgia in 1961. Breeze Card
The Breeze Card is a stored value smart card used on bus and rapid transit routes in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is part of an automated fare collection system which Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) introduced to the general public in early October 2006. The card automatically debits the cost of the passenger’s ride when placed on or near the Breeze Target at the fare gate. Transit riders are able to add value or time-based passes to the card at Breeze Vending Machines (BVM) located at all MARTA stations. The major phases of MARTA's Breeze transformation took place before July 1, 2007 when customers were still able to purchase TransCards from ridestores or their employers. North Druid Hills
North Druid Hills, also known as Briarcliff or Toco Hills, is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (North Druid Hills CDP) in DeKalb County, Georgia, United States. The population was 20,385 in 2020. The commercial center of the area is the Toco Hill Shopping Center, located near the intersection of North Druid Hills Road and LaVista Road. Tucker-North Dekalb Line
The Tucker-North Dekalb Line is a partially built spur of MARTA's Blue Line. The Tucker-North Dekalb line was built with the original line from 1975 to 1979. It was constructed between the stations of Edgewood/Candler Park and East Lake but is closer to East Lake Station. The line would have been underground but only 300–400 feet of tunnel were actually built. The original MARTA plans had the Tucker-North Dekalb Line as a busway, which was ruled out in favor of a more efficient rail line. Trains would have run along an existing freight train right-of-way. The line was abandoned partially because MARTA lacked the money to support it. East Lake (MARTA Station)
East Lake is an at-grade subway station in Atlanta and Decatur, Georgia, serving the Blue Line of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system. It has a track in each direction serving an island platform. When the station entered service on June 30, 1979, the opening ceremony took place in the south parking lot. This station is located mainly in the neighborhood of Kirkwood, but is named after East Lake Boulevard in neighboring Decatur, into which the east end of the station extends. The station also serves the Villages of East Lake and Oakhurst. There are two Zip car parking spaces in the north parking lot.
