Bankhead, Edinburgh
Bankhead is a non-residential area of western Edinburgh, Scotland. It borders the Edinburgh City Bypass (A720) and Hermiston Gait ( M8 motorway terminus) to the west, the Calders neighbourhood to the south – accessed via a pedestrian underpass, Sighthill to the east, and South Gyle/Edinburgh Park to the north. It is mostly occupied by a large industrial park. Amongst the companies here, and Burtons Biscuits have a large presence. |

Edinburgh Airport Tram Stop
Edinburgh Trams is a tramway in Edinburgh, Scotland, operated by Edinburgh Trams Ltd. It is an line between Newhaven and Edinburgh Airport, with 23 stops. A modern tram network for Edinburgh was proposed by Edinburgh Council in 1999, with detailed design work being performed over the next decade. Construction of the first phase, linking Edinburgh Airport with Newhaven, began in June 2008, but encountered substantial delays and cost overruns. During 2009, a 15-year contract held by Transdev to operate and maintain the tram network was cancelled. Newhaven, Edinburgh
Newhaven is a district in the capital city of Scotland, Edinburgh, which lies between Leith and Granton, Edinburgh, Granton and is about north of the city centre of Edinburgh, just north of the Victoria Park, Edinburgh, Victoria Park district. Formerly a village and harbour on the Firth of Forth, it had a population of approximately 5,000 inhabitants at the 1991 census. Newhaven was designated a conservation area, one of 40 such areas in Edinburgh, in 1977. It has a very distinctive building form, typical of many Scottish fishing villages, with a "forestair" leading to accommodation at first floor level. The lower ground floor was used for storing nets. Saughton
Saughton () is a suburb of the west of Edinburgh, Scotland, bordering Broomhouse, Edinburgh, Broomhouse, Stenhouse, Edinburgh, Stenhouse, Longstone, Edinburgh, Longstone and Carrick Knowe. In Scots language, Lowland Scots, a "sauch" is a willow. The Water of Leith flows by here. Edinburgh Park Railway Station
Edinburgh Park railway station is a railway station in the west of Edinburgh, Scotland, serving the Edinburgh Park business park and the Hermiston Gait shopping centre. The new station building was designed by IDP Architects, and it opened on 4 December 2003. It is the first intermediate station between and since 1951. Ticket barriers came into use on 25 March 2015. There are two platforms, linked by a covered footbridge, which is accessible by either stairs or a lift. There is also a pedestrian underpass just outside the station, accessible from both platforms. Tickets are available from one of the two ticket machines. Edinburgh Park station is on the edge of South Gyle, but should not be confused with South Gyle railway station which is away.
