Bani Yadav
Dr. Bani Yadav (born 7 September 1971) is an Indian people, Indian Rallying, rally driver, Motorsport, motorsports promoter and Human rights defender, social rights supporter. Yadav was the only woman in India to win most of the major Cross Country Rally Titles in the national women's category. Early life and career Yadav was born in Lucknow and raised in Delhi. Her first experience with racing was at age 13, inspiring her to compete for the first time in the 2013 Jaipur Speed Sprint at the age of 43. She finished at second place. Yadav was the fastest woman driver in the 2015 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship. Yadav participates in events for women's empowerment, endorsing Women's rights, equal rights and gender equality. Bani was the National Autocross Champion-Woman in 2018 and 2019. She is the first woman from India to drive Formula 4 cars outside of India at the Abu Dhabi Yas Marina Circuit. 2015 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship
The 2015 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship season is an international rally championship sanctioned by the FIA. The championship was contested by a combination of regulations with Group N competing directly against Super 2000 cars for points. The championship began in New Zealand on 17 April and concluded in China on 1 November. The Asia Cup sub-championship will continue on until a 13 December finish in India. The championship was held over six events with a candidate event included as part of the Asia Cup. FIA Formula 4, also called FIA F4, is an open-wheel racing car category intended for junior drivers. There is no global championship, but rather individual nations or regions can host their own championships in compliance with a universal set of rules and specifications. The category was created by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA)—the International sanctioning and administrative body for motorsport—as an entry-level category for young drivers, bridging the gap between karting and Formula 3. The series is a part of the FIA Global Pathway. Yas Marina Circuit
The Yas Marina Circuit (Arabic: حلبة مرسى ياس) is the venue for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke, and is situated on Yas Island, near Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Yas Marina was the second of four Formula One tracks in the Middle East, with the first being in Bahrain and subsequent tracks in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. A two-day GP2 Asia Series test was held to officially open the circuit, which was held a week before the 2009 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. It also hosted the opening event for the Australian V8 Supercars series, the Yas V8 400, in February 2010.
