Bang Bang (TV Channel)
Bang Bang is an Albanian TV channel for children aged 1–14. It was launched on 17 December 2004 by the TV platform Digitalb. All of Bang Bang's programming is in Albanian, which can be switchable to the original language (of dubbing) on the second audio track. The channel also has a rating system, which is divided into three groups; babies 1–5 years old, kids 6–9 years old, and teenagers 11–14 years old. While Junior TV, is a sister channel available on Telekomanda, Çufo is its main sister channel, sharing its dubs and promos about upcoming content with each other. Many dubs that have aired on Çufo in the past currently air on Bang Bang or vice versa. 576i
576i is a standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Digitalb Television Networks
DigitAlb is an Albanian media, digital satellite and terrestrial TV platform based in Tirana, Albania. The TV platform began terrestrial broadcasts in July 2004, and satellite broadcasts by the end of that year. At the same time, DigitAlb began broadcasting some channels of defunct AlbaniaSat's satellite platform SAT + which eventually went bankrupt. Television In Albania
Television in Albania was first introduced in 1960. RTSH dominated the Albanian broadcasting field up to the mid-1990s, a period when privately owned radio and TV stations started to occupy the vast empty Albanian frequencies. After several years of being stalled, deadlines for transition to DTV broadcasting are being continuously announced until all subscribers are equipped with digital antennas. Albania has 3 national commercial television stations, 56 local stations, 83 local cable stations and two commercial multiplexes. Of all the existing national television stations, the public broadcaster Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) has the greatest reach: its signal covers 80.5% of the territory, followed by Top Channel with 79%, and TV Klan with 78%. Top Channel
Top Channel is a national commercial television network based in Tirana, Albania, founded by Dritan Hoxha in 2001. In January 2008, Top Channel was awarded national frequency coverage by making it the third such channel in Albania. In 2009, it was the first Albanian channel to become available in 16:9 widescreen high-definition television for selected programs. Since September 2003, Top Channel has been present on satellite by broadcasting all over Europe through DigitAlb, and North America through TVALB and Shqip TV.
