Bamforth National Wildlife Refuge
Bamforth National Wildlife Refuge is located in southern Albany County, Wyoming, Albany County in the U.S. state of Wyoming and includes 1,116 acres (4.5 km2). The refuge is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service an agency within the U.S. Department of the Interior. The refuge is divided into three sections adjacent to Bamforth Reservoir, which is primarily owned by the state of Wyoming. The refuge is closed to the public and is unstaffed. Albany County ( ) is a county in the U.S. state of Wyoming. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 37,066. Its county seat is Laramie, the site of the University of Wyoming. The Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge is a United States National Wildlife Refuge located in north-central Colorado. It is one of over 560 national wildlife refuges which manages and protects natural resources for future generations.
