Bambang Suryadi (cyclist)
Bambang Suryadi, also known by his nickname Basur (1 October 1968 – 4 January 2021) was an Indonesian politician from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle who served as a member of the Central Lampung Regional People's Representative Council from 2004 until 2014, Member of the Lampung Regional People's Representative Council from 2014 until 2019, and Member of the People's Representative Council from 2019 until his death. Early life and education Bambang Suryadi was born on 1 October 1968, in Blitar, East Java. Bambang began his education at the Sumberdiren Garun State Elementary School in 1975 and finished in 1981. He continued his studies at the State Catholic Junior High School Number 1 in Blitar from 1981 until 1984 and at the Taman Siswa High School in Blitar from 1984 until 1987. People's Representative Council
The House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (, DPR-RI or simply DPR) is one of two elected chambers of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), the national legislature of Indonesia. It is considered the lower house, while the Regional Representative Council (DPD) serves as the upper house; while the Indonesian constitution does not explicitly mention the divide, the DPR enjoys more power, privilege, and prestige compared to the DPD. 2004 Indonesian Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in on 5 April 2004 for both houses of the People's Consultative Assembly of Indonesia. This included all 550 seats in the People's Representative Council and 128 seats of the newly formed Regional Representative Council. Final results of the popular vote tally showed that Golkar, the former ruling party of the New Order era, received the most votes. It had lost to the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle in the 1999 legislative election. The Democratic Party and the Prosperous Justice Party, two of the newest parties to participate in the elections, received a combined 15% of the popular vote. List Of Indonesian National Electoral Districts
This is a list of Indonesia's national electoral districts in accordance with Law No. 7 of 2017 and Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No.1/2022, and the regencies and cities included within each national electoral district. Members of the House of Representatives () are elected from multi-member electoral districts (''/Dapil''). In total, there are 84 districts across Indonesia's 38 provinces.
