Ballybacon–Grange GAA
Ballybacon–Grange GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the areas of Goatenbridge and Ardfinnan in County Tipperary, Ireland. The club competes in hurling in the Intermediate competitions at county level and in the South division of Tipperary GAA. The club has a fraternal co-existence with Ardfinnan Gaelic Football Club which is also affiliated to the GAA. As a consequence, some club hurlers also play football with Ardfinnan GAA. Hurling In 2018, the club won its 13th South Tipperary Intermediate Hurling Championship after a four-point win against Carrick Davins in the final. On 4 November 2017, they won the Tipperary Junior 'A' Hurling Championship after a 0–19 to 1–11 win against Toomevara, it was their first ever adult county title. Kenmare Shamrocks GAA ( Irish: ) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from Kenmare in County Kerry. The club plays both Gaelic Football and Hurling and is affiliated with Kenmare District. The football first team competes in the Kerry Senior Football Championship (tier 1) and the hurlers first team competes in the Kerry Intermediate Hurling Championship. (tier 2). Football is the more dominant sport in the club and their first team compete in the Kerry Senior Football Championship, the highest level of gaelic football in Kerry. Brendan Cummins (GAA Player)
Brendan Cummins (born 11 May 1975) is an Irish hurler and hurling coach who played as a goalkeeper for the Tipperary senior team. Born in Ardfinnan, County Tipperary, Cummins arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Tipperary minor football team, before later joining the minor hurling team and the under-21 sides in both codes. He made his senior hurling debut in the 1993-94 National Hurling League. Cummins went on to play a key role as goalkeeper for twenty years, and won two All-Ireland medals, five Munster medals and three National Hurling League medals. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on three occasions. Babs Keating
Michael "Babs" Keating (born 17 April 1944) is an Irish former hurler and Gaelic footballer who played as a forward for the Tipperary senior teams. Born in Ardfinnan, County Tipperary, Keating first played competitive Gaelic games during his schooling at CBS High School Clonmel. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Tipperary minor teams in both codes, before later joining the under-21 sides. He joined the senior football panel during the 1960 championship before being added to the senior hurling panel four years later. Keating was a regular member of the starting fifteen on both teams, and won two All-Ireland medals, four Munster medals and two National Hurling League medals. Tipperary Junior A Hurling Championship
The Tipperary Junior A Hurling Championship is an annual championship of hurling for male players in the junior grade and is organised by the Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The championship has been awarded almost every year since the first tournament in 1910. The series of games is played during the autumn months with the final currently being played in November. The championship has always been played on a straight knock-out basis whereby once a team loses they were eliminated from the series. The Tipperary Junior A Hurling Championship is an integral part of the wider Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship. Ardfinnan () is a small village in County Tipperary in Republic of Ireland, Ireland. It is situated on the River Suir and R665 road, R665 regional road. The Catholic parish of Ardfinnan is made up of three areas: Ardfinnan, Ballybacon, and Grange. Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship
The Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Munster GAA Hurling Junior Club Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the five champion junior clubs and one champion intermediate club in the province of Munster in Ireland. It is the most prestigious competition for junior clubs in Munster hurling. The Munster Junior Club Championship was introduced in 2001.
