Balliet Run (also known as Balliet's Run) is a tributary of Big Wapwallopen Creek in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Alkalinity (from ar, القلوي, al-qaly, lit=ashes of the saltwort) is the capacity of water to resist acidification.
