Baku Olympic Stadium () is a stadium, designed and constructed to meet the international standards for stadiums set by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). Having seating capacity for 69,870 people, it is the List of football stadiums in Azerbaijan, largest stadium in Azerbaijan. Despite the name, it has never hosted and is not scheduled to host any competition of the Olympic Games. Construction of the stadium on a site was completed in February 2015. The six-storey, structure near Boyukshor Lake, Baku, Azerbaijan, opened on 6 March 2015. Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium
The Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It served as the home ground for the Azerbaijan national football team until they moved to the Baku Olympic Stadium. It holds 31,200 seats making it the second largest stadium in the country.
