Baktybek Asankaliyevich Bekbolotov ( ky, Бекболотов Асанкалы уулу Бактыбек; born 15 October 1964) is a Kyrgyz lieutenant general who is currently Minister of Defence of Kyrgyzstan since 6 September 2021. Biography Baktybek Bekbolotov was born in the village of Tyup, Issyk-Kul Region on 15 October 1964. He is a member of the Kyrgyz tribe Bugu. He graduated from high school.
