Baiveriyaa
''Baiveriyaa'' is a 2016 Maldivian comedy film written and directed by Yoosuf Shafeeu. Produced by Niuma Mohamed and Ismail Shafeeq under Envision Entertainment, the film stars Yoosuf Shafeeu, Sheela Najeeb, Ahmed Azmeel, Maleeha Waheed and Ahmed Saeed in pivotal roles. The film was released on 14 December 2016. The film revolves around an aspiring actress who flees from her family to pursue a career in the film industry and the suspicions and confusions that arise. Yoosuf Shafeeu
Yoosuf Shafeeu also known as Eupe (20 October 1975) is a Maldivian film actor, editor, writer, and director. One of the most successful filmmakers and actors in Maldivian Cinema, Shafeeu is the recipient of a number of awards, including eight Gaumee Film Awards, and a Maldives Film Award; ; holding the record of collecting maximum Gaumee Film Award for Best Actor. In 2003, the Government of Maldives honoured him with the National Award of Recognition. Sheela Najeeb
Sheela Najeeb (born 7 September 1974) is a Maldivian film actress. She has established a career in Maldivian Film Industry and is the recipient of several awards, one Gaumee Film Awards and two Maldivian Film Awards. She made her screen debut alongside Junaid in a music video "Nudhaashey Magey Loabivaa" and featured in several films afterwards. Ahmed Azmeel is a Maldivian film actor, director and producer. Maleeha Waheed is a Maldivian film actress. Career In 2016, Waheed made her film debut in Hussain Munawwar's '' Neyngi Yaaru Vakivee'' alongside Aminath Rishfa and Ahmed Azmeel. Critics gave the film bad reviews and considered her performance as Laila, to be "boring" while criticising the character development. Ahmed Saeed is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career 1997–2010: Debut and early releases On 13 June 1997, Saeed made his screen debut in a video single alongside Hassan Afeef and Mariyam Nisha. Afterwards, he played a role in Yoosuf Rafeeu's ''Dhiriulhumakee Mieebaa?''. Mohamed Faisal is a Maldivian film actor, editor and director. Career Faisal made his film debut with the romantic film '' Loaiybahtakaa'' (2009), written and directed by Yoosuf Shafeeu in which he stars as businessman from a wealthy family struggling to express his feelings. Fathimath Azifa (born 28 October 1988) is a Maldivian film actress. She has established a career in Maldivian films and is the recipient of several awards, including a Gaumee Film Award.
