Team Bahrain Victorious () is a UCI WorldTeam cycling team from Bahrain which was founded in 2017. Its title sponsor is the government of Bahrain. History The idea for a Bahrain pro cycling team was started in August 2016 by Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The team is financed by the government of Bahrain to promote the country worldwide. Doping On 5 September 2018, the UCI announced that an out-of-competition test had resulted in an adverse analytical finding of erythropoietin in a sample collected 31 July 2018. Kanstantsin Sivtsov was provisionally suspended pending the result of any B sample test. Nikias Arndt (born 18 November 1991) is a German professional track and road cyclist, who rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Arndt rode for between 2010 and 2012, before joining the team for the 2013 season. He achieved his first professional victory at the 2013 Arctic Race of Norway, winning the third stage, en route to finishing third overall behind Thor Hushovd and Kenny van Hummel. Gino Mäder
Gino Mäder (; 4 January 1997 – 16 June 2023) was a Swiss road and track cyclist. He last rode for UCI WorldTeam . Mäder died as a result of an accident during the 2023 Tour de Suisse. Early life and education Gino Mäder was born on 4 January 1997, in Flawil in the Canton of St. Gallen, and raised in Wiedlisbach. He was baptized Gino in honour of Italian cyclist Gino Bartali; both his parents were cyclists as well. He began playing football at the age of five. Later he started as an apprentice at Swiss Olympic. The 2023 Tour de Suisse was a road cycling stage race that took place between 11 and 18 June 2023 in Switzerland.
