Arpunk
Arpunk (; ) is a village in the Vardenis Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. Three kilometers southeast of the village is a 15th-century church. The village was populated by Azerbaijanis before the Azerbaijanis in Armenia#Nagorno-Karabakh_conflict, exodus of Azerbaijanis from Armenia after the outbreak of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In 1988-1989 Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan settled in the village. Toponymy The village was known as ''Bahar'' until 1978. ''Bahar'' () is a 1951 Hindi Black-and-white social guidance film written and directed by M. V. Raman. It was a remake of the 1949 Tamil film ''Vazhkai''. Bahar is a Hindustani classical raga. This raga is very similar (but still distinct) to raga Malhar. This raga is from the Kafi Thaat.
