Baghatur
Baghatur is a historical Turkic and Mongolic honorific title, in origin a term for "hero" or "valiant warrior". The Papal envoy Plano Carpini ( 1185–1252) compared the title with the equivalent of European Knighthood. The word was common among the Mongols and became especially widespread, as an honorific title, in the Mongol Empire in the 13th century; the title persisted in its successor-states, and later came to be adopted also as a regnal title in the Ilkhanate and the Timurid dynasty, among others. In the Mughal Empire which was a successor state of the Timurids, the term was pronounced as "Bahadur". The concept of the Baghatur is present in Turco-Mongol tradition, one instance is the Bashkir epic poem Ural-batyr . The Bogatyr of Eastern Slavic legends is derived from the Turkic term. Bahadoor
Padiyath Kochumoideen Kunjalu (1930 22 May 2000), better known by his stage name Bahadoor, was an Indian actor who appeared in Malayalam films, primarily in comedic roles. He, along with Adoor Bhasi, were the two major comedians in Malayalam cinema in the 1960s and 1970s. Bahadoor also appeared in character roles and in professional plays. Bahadoor has won three Kerala State Film Awards, including two Second Best Actor and a Best Comedian. Early life Bahadoor was born as P. K. Kunjalu in 1930 in Kodungalloor, near Thrissur in Kingdom of Cochin (present day Kerala, India). As one of the nine children of Padiyath Blangachalil Kochumoideen and Khadeeja. Bahadurgad (, "Bahadur Fort") is a fort in the Pedgaon village of Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra, India. Location The fort is located about 100 km from Pune. The nearest town is Daund. This fort lay about 15 km East of the Daund town on northern banks of River Bhima. The Fort is situated in the village Pedgaon. Places to see The fort is rectangular in shape with two entrance gates. The gate towards the village is in good condition while that towards the river is in ruined state. There is a 5 feet tall Maruti/Hanuman statue inside the fort along with group of 5 temples which were constructed during Yadav period. The Hemadpanti architecture temples are of Baleshwar, Lakshmi-Narayan, Mallikarjun, Rameshwar and Bhairavnath. Bahadur (comics)
Bahadur (meaning The Brave Man) is a comic book superhero published by Indrajal Comics and created by Aabid Surti in 1976. Although it had been initially created by Aabid Surti a few years earlier, it was finally offered to Indrajal Comics. Aabid Surti was at that time freelancing for Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. After he moved on, Jagjit Uppal took over the task. The artwork was illustrated by Govind Brahmania and later by his son, B Pramod. The comics were published in various languages including Hindi, English language, English and Bengali language, Bengali. The Mikoyan MiG-27 (; NATO reporting name: Flogger-D/J) is a variable-sweep wing, variable-sweep attack aircraft, ground-attack aircraft, originally built by the Mikoyan, Mikoyan-Gurevich design bureau in the Soviet Union and later licence-produced in India by Hindustan Aeronautics as the ''Bahadur'' ("Valiant").
