Baggeridge Brick
Baggeridge Brick was a main British manufacturer of bricks, and was the UK's fourth-largest manufacturer of bricks. It is now a subsidiary of Wienerberger AG. History Baggeridge Brick Company was founded near Baggeridge Country Park in Staffordshire. It was incorporated on 7 April 1944. It first began making bricks in Worcestershire. It was headquartered in Gospel End in South Staffordshire. Ownership In August 2007 the company was taken over for £89.2m by the Austrian company Wienerberger AG, the world’s largest producer of bricks, after the prospective bid had been referred to the UK Competition Commission. Baggeridge Country Park
Baggeridge Country Park is located within the South Staffordshire district of Staffordshire, England. Its entrance is on the A463 just west of Gospel End, a small Staffordshire village just beyond the borders of the Wolverhampton, Gornal and the surrounding Metropolitan Borough of Dudley. Main information Baggeridge Country Park is owned by the South Staffordshire Council. The main feature is a large hill of Pit Mounds which has plenty of paths to its summit and a lake named Bag Pool located between the parking grounds and the hill. The nearest bus service is National Express West Midlands service 27/27A which operates daily from Wolverhampton to Dudley via Sedgley and Gornal. Worcestershire
Worcestershire ( , ; written abbreviation: Worcs) is a county in the West Midlands of England. Gospel End
Gospel End is a village in the South Staffordshire district of Staffordshire, England. Population details taken at the 2011 census can be found under Himley. It is situated on the A463 road, between Sedgley and Wombourne. It was historically part of the ancient manor of Sedgley, becoming part of the Sedgley urban district in 1894, remaining part of this authority until 1966, when it became part of the Seisdon Rural District in 1966, despite the bulk of Sedgley being absorbed into Dudley County Borough. This in turn was replaced by the South Staffordshire District in 1974. However, it still has a Sedgley DY3 postcode.
