Badnam
(English language, English: Infamous) (Bengali language, Bengali: বদনাম) is a 1990 Bengali language, Bengali action Film, action drama film directed by Shibu Mitra and produced by Ms. Rupanjali. The film stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Neelam Kothari, Neelam in the lead roles, with Sunny Deol in a special appearance. Music of the film has been composed by Bappi Lahiri. Plot Poor and honest man Haranath was entrapped by a corrupt person Mathur Ghosh. He commits suicide. Shankar, Haranath's son oaths to avenge for the wrongs done to Haranath. When he grows up, he also gets entrapped by Mathur Ghosh's friend and co-partner Sundar Banerjee who's also the local police head, Manotosh Banerjee's son even to the point he loses his lover Priya Dutta to him, the rich Prakash Dutta's daughter who also wanted to prove Haranath's innocence. ''Badnaam'' is a Pakistani film in Urdu language, released on 2 September 1966, adapted from Saadat Hasan Manto's short story ''Jhumkay'' ("Ear-rings") by screenwriter Riaz Shahid, and was the second film adaptation of the Manto's story after 1946 Bollywood adaptation. The film was directed and produced by Iqbal Shehzad, in his debut as a film director. ''Badnaam''s cast included Allauddin (Pakistani actor), Allauddin, Nabeela (actress), Nabeela, Neelo, Ejaz Durrani, Diljeet Mirza, Hameed Wain, Saeed Khan Rangeela, Rangeela and Zumurrud. The film celebrated its Silver Jubilee at the Pakistani cinemas in 1966 and was a box-office hit. The song of the film "Bare Bemurawat Hain Yei Husn Waale" was enormously popular, composed by Deebo Bhattacharya and is of the most prominent song of the singer Suraiya Multanikar. Badnaam (band)
Badnaam ( ) is a Pakistani grunge band from Lahore, Pakistan. It is the runners up band of Pepsi Battle of the Bands Season 2 in 2017. Formed in 2009, the band has played for numerous shows throughout Pakistan before performing in Pepsi Battle of the Bands. The three-member band consists of Ahmed Jilani (vocalist and lead guitarist), Lala Ahsan (drummer), and Raheem Shahbaz Sunny (bassist). The band also performed the team anthem 'Quetta Kai Kai' for Quetta Gladiators in the 4th Edition of Pakistan Super League. The band gained popularity because of their sufi rock and grunge genre and their combination of a unique performing style and use of strong vocals. Kamleshwar Prasad Saxena (6 January 1932 – 27 January 2007), known mononymously as Kamleshwar, was a 20th-century Indian writer who wrote in Hindi. He also worked as a screenwriter for Indian films and television industry. Among his most well-known works are the films ''Aandhi'', '' Mausam'', '' Chhoti Si Baat'' and '' Rang Birangi''. He was awarded the 2003 Sahitya Akademi Award for his Hindi novel '' Kitne Pakistan'' (translated in English as ''Partitions''), and the Padma Bhushan in 2005. He is considered a part of the league of Hindi writers like Mohan Rakesh, Nirmal Verma, Rajendra Yadav and Bhisham Sahni, who left the old pre-independence literary preoccupations and presented the new sensibilities that reflected new moorings of a post-independence India, thus launching the Hindi literature's ''Nayi Kahani'' ("New Story") movement in the 1950s.

(English: ''Infamous Neighbourhood'') is a 1971 Bollywood drama film directed by Prem Kapoor and adapted from an eponymous novel by Hindi novelist Kamleshwar. Starring Nitin Sethi, Amar Kakkad, and Nandita Thakur, it is often described as India's first gay film. The film was thought to have been lost for 40 years, but a print was found in 2019. Plot Set in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, tells the story of Sarnam Singh, a bus driver who is also a bandit. Sarnam saves Bansuri from being raped by another bandit.
