Badminton At The 2019 Pan American Games – Mixed Doubles
The mixed doubles badminton event at the 2019 Pan American Games will be held from July 29 – August 2nd at the Polideportivo 3 in Lima, Peru. The defending Badminton at the 2015 Pan American Games – Mixed doubles, Pan American Games champion is Phillip Chew and Jamie Subandhi of the United States. Each National Olympic Committee could enter a maximum of four athletes (two pairs) into the competition. The athletes will be drawn into an elimination stage draw. Once a team lost a match, it will be not longer be able to compete. Each match will be contested as the best of three games. Joshua Hurlburt-Yu
Joshua Hurlburt-Yu (born 28 December 1994) is a Canadian badminton player. Joshua was a gold medalist in the mixed doubles event at the 2019 Lima Pan American Games, and also at the 2019 and 2021 Pan Am Championships. Career In June 2021, Hurlburt-Yu was named to Canada's Olympic team, competing in the mixed doubles badminton event.
