''Baddy Doub'' ( ar, بدي دوب) (English: ''I Want to Melt Away'') is the first studio album by Lebanese singer Elissa. The album was produced by Lido Musique and distributed by Watary music company in early December 1998 in Lebanon, before being picked up by EMI for distribution in the Arab world and elsewhere in February 1999. Elissa filmed a music video for the titular song "Baddy Doub", which achieved huge success in the Arab world. Elissar Zakaria Khoury ( ar, إليسار زكريا خوري; born 27 October 1972), commonly known as Elissa ( ar, إليسا), is a Lebanese recording artist. Arabic pop music or Arab pop music is a subgenre of pop music and Arabic music. The album achieved wide success in the Arab world and ranked first in terms of sales upon its release. Gülşen Çolakoğlu (née Bayraktar, ; born 29 May 1976) is a Turkish singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Istanbul, she graduated from Şehremini High School.
