Badava
''Badava'' is a 2025 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by KV Nandha, starring Vimal and Soori in the lead roles alongside Shrita Rao, Ramachandra Raju, Devadarshini, Namo Narayana, Senthil, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Saravana Sakthi and others in important roles. The film is produced by John Peter under his J Studio International banner. ''Badava'' released in theatres on 7 March 2025 to mixed reviews. Plot A jobless troublemaker is forced to move to Malaysia for work, only to lose his job and return home. Meanwhile, a powerful brick kiln owner enslaves the local population. The story follows how the hero rises to the challenge, using his courage to free the people and restore joy to the community. Devadarshini is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Tamil films, in addition to few Telugu, Malayalam films and television series. She began her career as a television anchor and entered cinema playing supporting and comedic roles. she is a recipient of three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. ''Madha Gaja Raja'' ( ) is a 2025 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by Sundar C and produced by Gemini Film Circuit and Benzz Media (P) Ltd. The film stars Vishal in the titular role, alongside Santhanam, Anjali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sonu Sood, Manivannan, Subbaraju, Nithin Sathya, Sadagoppan Ramesh, Munna Simon and John Kokken. John Peter (composer)
John Peter is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer who has predominantly scored music for Tamil cinema, Tamil films. Career Peter worked as a bureaucrat before first working as a musician on ''Prathi Gnayiru 9 Manimudhal 10.30 Varai'' (2006), which had a delayed release. He subsequently went on to work closely with Harikumar (actor), Harikumar who gave him the chance to compose the songs for ''Madurai Sambavam'' (2009) and ''Bodinayakanur Ganesan'' (2011).
