Belait District
Belait District (; Jawi: دأيره بلأيت) or simply known as Belait ('; ), is the largest as well as the westernmost district in Brunei. It has an area of and the population of 65,531 as of 2021. The administrative town is Kuala Belait, located at the mouth of the long Belait River. The district is commonly associated with the oil and gas industry of the country, mainly concentrated near the town of Seria. Geography The South China Sea borders Belait District to the north, Tutong District to the northeast, and Sarawak, Malaysia to the west and south. The district's lowlands are steep and below an elevation of . Areas along the shore, which are mostly characterised by marshy plains with slender alluvial valleys that extend to the major rivers, are the exception. Badas Islands
Badas Islands is a group of islands in the Tudjuh Archipelago in the South China Sea between the Malaysian mainland to the west and the island of Borneo to the east. Administratively it is part of Bintan Regency within the Riau Islands province of Indonesia under island district/''kecamatan'' of Tambelan. The Badas Islands are located between 0°30'N and 0°39'N latitude, and between 106°58'E and 107°12'E longitude. They are 56 km southwest of the Tambelan archipelago (of which district they are administratively part), and lie outside the usual shipping lanes. The southwesternmost island of the group is Anakawur Island (Pulau Anakawur) () which rises to 94 m and has a sandy beach on its southwestern side, but otherwise has a rugged coastline. Bowel-associated Dermatosis–arthritis Syndrome
Bowel-associated dermatosis–arthritis syndrome (BADAS), is a complication of jejunoileal bypass surgery consisting of flu-like symptoms (fever, malaise), multiple painful joints ( polyarthralgia), muscle aches (myalgia) and skin changes. It has been reported to occur in up to 20% of patients who had jejunoileal bypass surgery, a form of obesity surgery that is rarely performed today. An excessive immune response to gut bacteria is thought to cause BADAS. Antibiotics have been used successfully to treat the condition (including tetracyclines, macrolides, metronidazole and fluoroquinolones). Corticosteroids are an alternative. Surgical repair of the normal bowel transit, where possible, can be effective. BADAS has later been reported in patients with inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis and following resection of the stomach (gastrectomy). Konstantinos Bantas (; born 9 July 1976) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a defender.
