Bad Boy (Hadise Song)
"Bad Boy" is the fifth and last single by Belgian-Turkish singer Hadise from her album Sweat - Special Edition. "Bad Boy" was featured on the original version her debut album Sweat, however a remix was made which was released instead of the original. Music video The music video for "Bad Boy" was shot on Gold Coast. The remix of "Bad Boy" was chosen for the video, instead of the original. The video sees Hadise performing on the beach and features many strange characters, i.e. a clown playing the sitar. Chart performance Bad Boy entered the chart at #39 on 26 August. It was the second highest debut of the week behind friend Kate Ryan, with her song Alive. Bad Boy then dropped down two places a week later to #41. The song then gradually rose to its peak position of #22 in its fifth week. It then slowly began to drop off the chart, spending eleven weeks altogether on the chart. Hadise Açıkgöz (born 22 October 1985). hadisemusic.com is a Belgian-Turkish singer-songwriter, dancer, and television personality. Born and raised in Belgium, her family is of Lezgin- Kumyk origin who settled in Sivas, Turkey. In 2003, she participated in the Belgian singing competition show '' Idool 2003'', but rose to fame after releasing her debut album ''Sweat'' in 2005. The album spawned 5 singles and earned Hadise both a TMF Award (Belgium) and Golden Butterfly Award (Turkey). The sitar ( or ; ) is a plucked stringed instrument, originating from the Indian subcontinent, used in Hindustani classical music. ''Sweat'' is the debut studio album by Turkish-Belgian singer Hadise which was released in November 12, 2005. The album was released in both Belgium and Turkey. Hadise released 4 singles from this album - "Sweat", "Milk Chocolate Girl", "Ain't No Love Lost" and "Stir Me Up" - before releasing the single "Bad Boy (Remix)" which was supposed to be included on a re-release of the album that was eventually never released due to legal reasons. Legal battle After the release of her debut album, Hadise was scheduled to release a special edition of "Sweat", however a legal battle between Hadise and her manager broke out and consequently postponed the release of the album.
