''Back to Life'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band Hinder. It was released on May 23, 2025, via Evil Teen Records. It is the band's first album without longtime rhythm guitarist Mark King since he decided to leave the band in 2021 and is their first album since signing with the record label Evil Teen Records in 2024. The album is their first in over seven years, serving as the follow up to their 2017 album '' The Reign''. Background and recording Throughout 2018 and 2019, drummer Cody Hanson and vocalist Marshal Dutton worked on new material, previewing early clips via the band's official social media pages, including the song "Halo", which was released as a standalone single in January 2019. In July 2019, the band also released a cover of "Life in the Fast Lane" by Eagles. Hinder is an American Rock music, rock band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formed in 2001 by former lead singer Austin John Winkler, guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey, drummer Cody Hanson, with bass player Cole Parker being recruited in 2002 during the recording of their debut EP ''Far from Close''. Upon Parker's exit from the group in 2003, Hinder recruited bassist Mike Rodden and former guitarist Mark King to join the band in 2004. The band released four studio albums with Winkler; ''Extreme Behavior'' (2005), ''Take It to the Limit (Hinder album), Take It to the Limit'' (2008), ''All American Nightmare'' (2010) and ''Welcome to the Freakshow (Hinder album), Welcome to the Freakshow'' (2012). Matthew Jean Paul Walst (born December 28, 1982) is a Canadian musician who is the co-lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Three Days Grace, which also includes his older brother Brad as bassist. Adam Wade Gontier (born May 25, 1978) is a Canadian rock musician. He is the lead singer, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter for Saint Asonia, but is best known as the co-lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and founding member of the rock band Three Days Grace. He co-founded the band in 1992, recording four albums with them before parting ways in 2013 (not counting two guest appearances on stage with the band in 2023) and eventually returning in 2024. Three Days Grace is a Canadian Rock music, rock band formed in Asphodel–Norwood, Norwood, Ontario, in 1992 originally as Groundswell. Groundswell played in various local Norwood backyard parties and area establishments before disbanding in 1995 and regrouping in 1997 under its current name. Austin John Winkler (born October 25, 1981) is an American musician best known for being the original and former lead vocalist of the rock band Hinder. Since his departure from Hinder, he has continued his career as a solo artist under the name Austin John. Winkler's first release as a solo artist, a six-song EP titled '' Love Sick Radio'', was released on April 22, 2016.
