Bacho District
Bacho (, ) is the northernmost district (''amphoe'') of Narathiwat province, southern Thailand. History In 1908 the district was established as the minor district (''king amphoe'') Champako (จำปากอ), which was upgraded to a full district the following year. In 1917 the district was renamed ''Bacho''. The district was part of Sai Buri Province, which was abolished in 1932. While Sai Buri District came to Pattani Province, Bacho was added to Narathiwat. Geography Neighboring districts are (from the east clockwise) Mueang Narathiwat, Yi-ngo, and Rueso of Narathiwat Province, Raman of Yala province, and Kapho, Sai Buri, and Mai Kaen of Pattani province. Budo–Su-ngai Padi National Park is in the mountains at the border of Yala and Pattani. Bachok District
Bachok District ( Kelantanese: ) is an administrative division (or jajahan) of Kelantan, Malaysia. It is located approximately 25 km east of Kota Bharu. The population is predominantly Malay, with Chinese and Siamese minorities. Bachok Town is the center of administration, business, and transportation of the district. The economy is mostly supported by agriculture, with significant fishing activity as well. Bachok Town or Bandar Bachok was recently declared an Islamic Tourism Town or Bandar Pelancongan Islam by the incumbent Menteri Besar of Kelantan, Tuan Guru Hj. Rueso District
Rueso (, ; ) is a district (''amphoe'') of Narathiwat province, southern Thailand. Geography Neighboring districts are (from the northeast clockwise): Bacho, Yi-ngo, Ra-ngae and Si Sakhon of Narathiwat Province; Bannang Sata and Raman of Yala province. History Originally the area of the district was ''tambon'' Tamma-ngan (ตำมะหงัน) of Mueang Ra-ngae District, the present-day Ra-ngae district. In 1913 it was upgraded to Tamma-ngan Minor District (''king amphoe''), consisting of six sub-districts (''tambons''). In 1917 it was renamed "Rueso". On 1 October 1939 the minor district was upgraded to a full district. Thesaban (, , , Pali: desapāla (protector of region) are the municipalities of Thailand. There are three levels of municipalities: city, town, and sub-district. Bangkok and Pattaya are special municipal entities not included in the ''thesaban'' system. The municipalities assume some of the responsibilities which are assigned to the districts (''amphoe'') or subdistricts (''tambon'') for non-municipal (rural) areas. Historically, this devolution of central government powers grew out of the Sukhaphiban () sanitary districts first created in Bangkok by a royal decree of King Chulalongkorn in 1897. Muban
Muban (; , ) is the lowest Administrative divisions of Thailand, administrative sub-division of Thailand. Usually translated as 'village' and sometimes as 'hamlet (place), hamlet', they are a subdivision of a tambon (subdistrict). , there were 74,944 administrative mubans in Thailand. ''Tambon'' (, ) is a local governmental unit in Thailand. Below district (''amphoe'') and province ('' changwat''), they form the third administrative subdivision level. there were 7,255 tambons, not including the 180 ''khwaeng'' of Bangkok, which are set at the same administrative level, thus every district contains eight to ten tambon. Budo–Su-ngai Padi National Park
Budo–Su-ngai Padi National Park () is a national park in Narathiwat Province, Thailand. It is part of Sankala Khiri mountain range, the southernmost subrange of the Tenasserim Hills. History The area was a haven for guerrillas and few people ventured in to see the natural jungle environment here. However, when the situation improved in 1974, the Royal Forest Department established Pacho Waterfall Park that became Budo–Su-ngai Padi National Park. Geography and climate The park has an area of and covers parts of Narathiwat, Yala and Pattani Provinces. The Budo mountain range is part of the Indo-Malayan equatorial tropical rainforest that has high humidity because of the year-round rainfall that it gets. The park has several waterfalls, such as Phu Wae, Pacho and Pako. The best known and accessible is "Pacho", on a high cliff. Pattani Province
Pattani (, ; , , , ; ) is one of the southern provinces of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are (from southeast clockwise) Narathiwat, Yala, and Songkhla. Its capital is the town of Pattani. Geography Pattani is on the Malay Peninsula, with the coast of the Gulf of Thailand to the north. Sai Buri District
Sai Buri (, ) is a district (''amphoe'') in Pattani province, southern Thailand. The local Malay people call it ''Teluban'' (Jawi: تلوبن), which is also the name of the only municipal area of the district, or ''Selindung Bayu'' (Jawi: سليندوڠ بايو), the Malay and Sanskrit word for 'wind shelter'.
