Baby John (other)
Baby John (25 October 1917 – 27 January 2008) was a senior leader of the Kerala Revolutionary Socialist Party (Baby John). Previously, he was General Secretary of the Revolutionary Socialist Party (India), Revolutionary Socialist Party in India. He was known in the Kerala state political circles as ‘Kerala Kissinger’ for his abilities to manage political crises at times when the state was passing through difficult political phases, with reference to Henry Kissinger, an American diplomat and an advocate of a pragmatic approach to geopolitics. Legislative career Baby's legislative career began in the early 1950s, when he was elected to the Travancore-Cochin Assembly. Baby John (film)
''Baby John'' is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Kalees. It serves as a remake of Atlee's 2016 Tamil film '' Theri''. The film stars Varun Dhawan, alongside Keerthy Suresh (in her Hindi debut), Wamiqa Gabbi, Zara Zyanna and Jackie Shroff. The film was officially announced in July 2023 under the tentative title ''VD18'', and the official title was revealed in February 2024. Principal photography held in Mumbai and Kerala commenced in August 2023 and ended in October 2024. The music was composed by Thaman S, with cinematography by Kiran Koushik and editing by Ruben. ''Baby John'' was theatrically released on 25 December 2024, coinciding with Christmas. It received mixed-to-negative reviews from critics and audiences, and was a box-office disaster. Revolutionary Socialist Party (India)
The Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) is a communist party in India. The party was founded on 19 March 1940 by Tridib Chaudhuri and has its roots in the Bengali liberation movement Anushilan Samiti and the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army. The party got around 0.4% of the votes and three seats in the Lok Sabha elections in 1999 and 2004. It is part of the Left Front (West Bengal), Left Front (Tripura) and Congress-led United Democratic Front (Kerala). History Development of Anushilan Marxism A major section of the Anushilan movement had been attracted to Marxism during the 1930s, many of them studying Marxist–Leninist literature whilst serving long jail sentences.
