Baba Aparajith
Baba Aparajith (born 8 July 1994) is an Indian cricketer who plays as an all-rounder. He is a right-handed batsman and off break bowler, who plays first-class cricket for Tamil Nadu. He played for the India Under-19 cricket team in the 2012 Under-19 World Cup. He was a member of the Chennai Super Kings squad in the Indian Premier League for five seasons but had not been picked to play a single match in Indian Premier League. On 4 October 2013 he scored his first double century playing for South Zone against West Zone in the Duleep Trophy. He was the leading run-scorer for Tamil Nadu in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy, with 417 runs in four matches. In July 2018, he was named in the squad for India Red for the 2018–19 Duleep Trophy. 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy
The 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the 18th season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a List A cricket tournament in India. It took place in September and October 2019, after the Duleep Trophy and before the Ranji Trophy. Chandigarh competed in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for the first time. Mumbai were the defending champions. Seventeen out of the first thirty matches that were scheduled to be played across all four groups were abandoned or finished in a no result. Therefore, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued a revised schedule for the rain-affected matches. The statistics for cancelled matches were revoked leading to Rongsen Jonathan missing out on his maiden hundred in List A cricket. On 12 October 2019, in the Group A match between Kerala and Goa, Kerala's Sanju Samson scored the fastest double century in List A cricket. West Zone
The West Zone cricket team is a first-class cricket team that represents western India in the Duleep Trophy and Deodhar Trophy. It is a composite team of players from five first-class Indian teams from western India competing in the Ranji Trophy: Baroda, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Mumbai and Saurashtra. West Zone has the best track record of all the zones in the Duleep Trophy, as they have won the Trophy 17 times, similar to North Zone. This included four consecutive titles from 1961-62 through to the 1964-65 season, although the third of these were shared with South Zone. The 2019–20 Deodhar Trophy was the 47th edition of the Deodhar Trophy, a List A cricket competition in India.
