BS 2000
BS 2000 (also known as Beat Science 2000) was an American rock and hip hop group formed by Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz (member of Beastie Boys) and Amery "AWOL" Smith (drummer for Suicidal Tendencies and touring drummer for Beastie Boys) featuring Janay North. Their music features short instrumentals fusing hip-hop and electronic effects. Music on this album was inspired by the French underground band X-Ray Pop. In 1997, BS 2000 released their vinyl-only self-titled debut. BS 2000 later released a limited-edition vinyl/CD, "Buddy", in 2000 and '' Simply Mortified'' on vinyl and CD in 2001. Grand Royal
Grand Royal was a vanity record label founded in 1992 by rap group Beastie Boys in conjunction with Capitol Records after the group left Def Jam Recordings. It was based in Los Angeles, California. ''Grand Royal'' was also the name of a magazine written and published by the group. Described as a publication that "came to define part of Generation X," the total distribution of the six issues of ''Grand Royal'' was estimated at 300,000 copies. Due to mounting debts, Grand Royal closed down on August 31, 2001, and formally declared bankruptcy in July 2002. Its assets were sold off via auction on Bid4Assets; these assets did not include any rights to Beastie Boys music. Jet Set Radio Future
is a 2002 action game developed by Smilebit and published by Sega for the Xbox. The sequel to the Dreamcast game ''Jet Set Radio'' (2000), it features refined gameplay mechanics, updated graphics, larger open world environments, new characters, an altered plot, a new soundtrack and multiplayer gameplay. The player controls members of the youth street gang, the GG's, who use inline skates to traverse a futuristic Tokyo, spraying graffiti, challenging rival gangs and evading authorities. , or Sega Sports R&D, was a development division of the Japanese video game company Sega. It was previously known as Smilebit, one of nine semi-autonomous studios which Sega established in 2000. The Beastie Boys were an American Hip-hop, hip hop and Rap rock, rap rock group formed in New York City in 1979. Adam Keefe Horovitz (born October 31, 1966), popularly known as Ad-Rock, is an American rapper, guitarist, and actor. He was a member of the Hip hop music, hip-hop group Beastie Boys.
