BSV Schwenningen
BSV 07 Schwenningen is a German association football club that plays in Schwenningen, Baden-Württemberg. The 1974 merger of ''Schwenningen SC'' and ''VfR Schwenningen'' that formed ''BSV Schwenningen 07'' brought together two separate threads of the club's history. History Two of the town's early clubs, ''FC 07 Schwenningen'' and ''FC Viktoria 08 Schwenningen'', set aside their rivalry in 1922 to form ''VfR Schwenningen''. Promotion and relegation is used by sports leagues as a process where teams can move up and down among divisions in a league system, based on their performance over a season. The Bitburger-wfv-Pokal is one of the 21 regional cup competitions of German football. The winner of the competition gains entry to the first round of the German Cup. It was introduced in 1945. In 2011 the cup was renamed from WFV-Pokal into Bitburger-wfv-Pokal because of a new name sponsoring by the brewery Bitburger. The German amateur football championship was a national football competition in Germany organized by the German Football Association (German: Deutscher Fußball-Bund; DFB) and in existence from 1950 to 1998. The Verbandsliga Württemberg is a German amateur football division administered by the Württemberg Football Association, one of the 21 German state football associations. Being the top flight of the Württemberg state association, the Verbandsliga is currently a level 6 division of the German football league system. Villingen-Schwenningen
Villingen-Schwenningen (; Low Alemannic: ''Villinge-Schwenninge'') is a city in the Schwarzwald-Baar district in southern Baden-Württemberg, in south-western Germany. It had 89,743 inhabitants as of September 2024. History In the Middle Ages, Villingen was a town under Austrian lordship. During the Protestant Reformation it remained Catholic.
