BR Engineering BR01
The BR Engineering BR01 is a Le Mans Prototype built by BR Engineering in 2015. The car made its debut at the 4 Hours of Imola run by SMP Racing. Racing History 2015 In 2015 SMP originally planned a full-season program in the European Le Mans Series. After missing the first round, in which the team ran the Oreca 03, the car with its livery was unveiled at Imola. SMP Racing entered a pair of BR01s at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and a single prototype at the 6 Hours of Bahrain. 2016 SMP Racing entered the 2016 24 Hours of Daytona, ahead of their planned 2-car assault on the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship season in 2016. Mikhail Petrovich Aleshin ( rus, Михаи́л Петро́вич Алёшин, p=mʲɪxɐˈil pʲɪˈtrovʲɪtɕ ɐˈlʲɵʂɨn, born 22 May 1987 in Moscow, Soviet Union) is a Russian professional racing driver and the 2010 champion of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, east of Bologna. The Oreca 03 is a Le Mans Prototype built by Oreca in 2011. It is built within the revised 2011 ACO regulations for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car made its début at the 12 Hours of Sebring run by Signatech Nissan and set to race at the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans. It is the third car that Oreca has produced after the 01 and FLM09. 24 Oreca 03 were built.
