Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (sometimes abbreviated to BRMC) is an American rock band from San Francisco, California. The group originally consisted of Peter Hayes (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Robert Levon Been (vocals, bass, guitar), and Nick Jago (drums). Jago departed the band in 2008 and was replaced by Leah Shapiro. They have released eight studio albums: '' B.R.M.C.'' The Fillmore
The Fillmore is a historic music venue in San Francisco, California. Built in 1912 and originally named the Majestic Hall, it became the Fillmore Auditorium in 1954. It is in Western Addition, on the edge of the Fillmore District and Upper Fillmore neighborhood. ''The Wild One'' is a 1953 American crime film directed by László Benedek and produced by Stanley Kramer. Four songs were released as singles in late 2017 ahead of the album's release: "Little Thing Gone Wild", "Haunt", "Question of Faith", and "King of Bones". A limited edition package with a clear vinyl edition of the album, a black BRMC-branded Hohner harmonica, and a 'Black Cassette EP' was released in late April 2018. ''Specter at the Feast'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, released on March 18, 2013 in Europe and March 19, 2013 in the US. It was released under the band's own record label, Abstract Dragon, through Vagrant Records. Unlike '' Beat The Devil's Tattoo'', the album wasn't produced by Michael Been, who died after he suffered a heart attack mid-tour in 2010 while the band was playing at Pukkelpop. As a result, ''Specter at the Feast'' was a way for the band to mourn their loss and rid the pain, as he was the father of bassist Robert Levon Been, but also their live sound technician and a mentor to all the members. ''Baby 81'' is the fourth studio album by American rock band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. It was released on April 27, 2007 in Germany, April 30 in Europe and on May 1 in the U.S.. The album features a harder, more raw sound compared with their previous record ''Howl''. It was also a studio comeback for drummer Nick Jago who was unable to participate during the recordings of ''Howl'' (other than the last track recorded during the sessions, 'Promise'). A DualDisc edition of the album was set to be released on May 1 in the U.S.; however, it has since been canceled. The album debuted at number 46 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' 200, selling about 14,000 copies in its first week. The album title refers to Baby 81, a survivor of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake.
