BQL (group)
BQL are a Slovene duo from Prevalje founded in 2016. It consists of two brothers; Rok (vocal, piano) and Anej Piletič (vocal, guitar). They are the first domestic artists at the Slovenian official singles charts SloTop50, who managed to hit the peak chart positions with two singles: one week with " Muza" and four weeks with " Heart of Gold". Career 2010–2013: Slovenia's Got Talent Both brothers competed at Slovenia's Got Talent (Slovenija ima talent). Older Rok in 1st season (2010) and together with Matej Prikeržnik in 3rd season (2013). Younger Anej was one of the finalists in 4th season (2014). Prevalje
Prevalje (; German language, German: ''Prävali'') is a town in northern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Prevalje. It lies in the traditional Slovenian province of Carinthia, Slovenia, Carinthia. Prevalje lies in a valley where the Meža, Meža River emerges from a narrow gorge, full of fluvioglacial sediments. Slovenia In The Eurovision Song Contest 2018
Slovenia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song "Hvala, ne!", written by Lea Sirk and Tomy DeClerque, and performed by Lea Sirk herself. The Slovene participating broadcaster, (RTVSLO), organised the national selection in order to select its entry for the contest. 16 entries competed in the national final which consisted of two shows: a semi-final and a final. Entries were selected to advance from the semi-final based on a public televote and a jury panel. Eight entries qualified to compete in the final where "Hvala, ne!" performed by Lea Sirk was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from six thematical juries and a public televote. Slovenia was drawn to compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 10 May 2018.
