BOG Strykers
The Bank of Guam Strykers FC are a professional association football club based in Guam. Strykers FC have never won a Guam Soccer League title nor domestic cup to this date, but still remain a dominant force in Guamanian soccer. They underwent many name changes throughout the years, including Paintco Strykers and Payless Supermarket Strykers (named for its past sponsor, the food purveyors Payless Supermarkets) to name a few. The club's youth team claimed victory to take home Guam's first Minetgot Cup Elite Youth League title and trophy. Aside from a football section, they have a successful beach soccer section which won the Land Shark Beach Soccer league in 2016. History In 2005, Keith Dickson founded the club. In an interview with Pacific Daily News, he stated his reasons for starting the club were ' ther clubs they triedwere either too strict, or not strict enough'. Guam Soccer League
The Budweiser G-League is the men's football in Guam, top level professional association football, football league of the Guam Football Association in the United States territory of Guam. Previously, the then GSL was divided into ''Spring'' and ''Fall'' seasons. When the champions of both seasons were different, a one-off match was played to decide the year's overall champion. Clubs There are currently 15 clubs competing in the 2024 league. Prior to the 2024 season, there was an amateur league that merged with the G League. Beach soccer, also known as beach football, sand football or sand soccer, is a variant of association football played on a beach or some form of sand between two teams of five players each. The ''Pacific Daily News'', formerly ''Guam Daily News'', is an online newspaper based in Hagåtña, in the United States territory of Guam. It is owned by Kaleo Moylan. History ''Guam Daily News'' began as a newspaper of the United States Navy, published under various titles. Joseph Flores, later the Governor of Guam, bought the newspaper in 1950.
