B. Daniel Riley
B. Daniel Riley (February 16, 1946 – August 31, 2016) was an American politician who represented Maryland House of Delegates District 34A, District 34A in the Maryland House of Delegates. Background Born in London, England, he was a Harford County, MD, Harford County social studies teacher from 1978 until 2006. Education Riley attended Baltimore City College high school and graduated in 1964. He graduated from Towson State University with his B.S. (education) in 1978 and with his M.A. (education) in 1984. In the legislature Riley has had two separate terms as a member of House of Delegates. Initially he served from January 13, 1999, to January 8, 2003, representing District 34 (Harford County), and more recently he served from January 10, 2007, to January 9, 2011, representing Maryland House of Delegates District 34A, District 34A (Cecil County, Maryland, Cecil & Harford Counties). Mary Dulany James
Mary-Dulany James (born February 1, 1960) is an American politician who has represented District 34 in the Maryland Senate since 2023. She was previously a member of the District 34A in the Maryland House of Delegates for sixteen years, representing Harford and Cecil Counties along the U.S. Route 40 corridor. Mary-Dulany James represented district 34A, formerly district 34, for 16 years having first been elected in 1998. In 2014 and 2018, James unsuccessfully ran for the Maryland Senate in District 34.
