Karnatak Lingayat Education Technological University (KLETU) is a private university in Hubballi-Dharwad, Karnataka, India. It was upgraded to a university under the KLE Technological University Act, 2012. The institute was founded by the KLE Society, Belagavi, in 1947. The University Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor are Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Dr. Ashok Shettar and Dr. Prakash Tewari respectively. National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a ranking methodology released annually by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India. The framework was approved by the former Ministry of Human Resource Development (now the Ministry of Education) and launched by the Minister on 29 September 2015. Depending on their areas of operation, institutions have been ranked under 11 different categories – overall, university, colleges, engineering, management, pharmacy, law, medical, architecture, dental and research. The Framework uses several parameters for ranking purposes like resources, research, and stakeholder perception. Hubli
Hubli (officially Hubballi) is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka. The twin cities Hubli–Dharwad form the second largest city in the state by area and population and the largest city in North Karnataka. Hubli is in Dharwad district of Karnataka and is the taluk headquarters of Hubli City and Hubli Rural. Although it hosts the HDMC office, the district headquarters is in Dharwad.
