Boldklubben af 1893, commonly referred to as B.93, is a football club based in Østerbro, Copenhagen, Denmark. The team competes in the Danish 1st Division, the second level of the Danish football league system, after achieving promotion in the 2022–23 season. The club has won nine league titles and one Danish Cup. B.93 was originally founded as a cricket club on 19 May 1893, and was named Cricketklubben af 1893 at its inception. Football was introduced in 1896, at which point the club adopted its current name. Tennis was added in 1901. The cricket division was later discontinued, but the football and tennis divisions remain among the country's larger clubs by membership. The club's football division, with 1,834 members, was the fifth-largest football club under DBU Copenhagen in Denmark in 2023. Danish 2nd Division
The 2nd Division () is a professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the 2nd Division clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the DBU Pokalen. The number of promoted and relegated clubs has fluctuated over the years. In the 2020–21 season two clubs were directly promoted to the 1st Division, while eight teams were relegated to the Denmark Series. 2023–24 Danish 1st Division
The 2023–24 Danish 1st Division (known as the NordicBet Liga for sponsorship purposes) marked the 28th season of the league operating as the second tier of Danish football and the 84th season overall under the 1st Division name. The league is governed by the Danish Football Association (DBU). Participants Horsens and AaB finished the 2022–23 season of the Superliga in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 1st Division. They replaced Vejle BK and Hvidovre IF, who were promoted to the 2023–24 Danish Superliga. Kolding IF and B.93 won promotion from the 2022–23 Danish 2nd Division. The 1926–27 Landsfodboldturneringen was the 14th edition of the List of Danish football champions, Danish national football championship play-offs, a Danish Football Association, Danish FA-organised club football tournament between the championship clubs from each of the six regional football associations. In advance of the tournament, a play-off structure had been agreed, which meant that the winners of Copenhagen Series, KBUs Mesterskabsrække were directly qualified for the national championship final against the winner of the Provinsmesterskabsturneringen, Provincial tournament.
