Ari Behn
Ari Mikael Behn (; , or ; 30 September 1972 – 25 December 2019) was a Norwegian author, playwright, and visual artist. Known as Mikael Bjørshol until 1996, Behn achieved early literary success with his 1999 short story collection ''Trist som faen'' ("Sad as hell"), which sold about 100,000 copies. Following his 2002 marriage to Princess Märtha Louise, he wrote four novels, two short story collections, one play and a book about his wedding, and took part in other creative and artistic endeavours such as the design of a china set named "Peacock". In the 2000s and 2010s his public activity and art were met with mixed reactions in Norway, and Behn acknowledged that many people regarded him as a "fool". Confirmation
In Christian denominations that practice infant baptism, confirmation is seen as the sealing of the covenant created in baptism. Those being confirmed are known as confirmands. For adults, it is an affirmation of belief. It involves laying on of hands. Catholicism views confirmation as a sacrament. The sacrament is called chrismation in the Eastern Christianity. In the East it is conferred immediately after baptism. In Western Christianity, confirmation is ordinarily administered when a child reaches the age of reason or early adolescence. When an adult is baptized, the sacrament is conferred immediately after baptism in the same ceremony. Among those Christians who practice teen-aged confirmation, the practice may be perceived, secondarily, as a "coming of age" rite. Neo-expressionism
Neo-expressionism is a style of late modernist or early-postmodern painting and sculpture that emerged in the late 1970s. Neo-expressionists were sometimes called ''Transavantgarde'', '' Junge Wilde'' or ''Neue Wilden'' ('The new wild ones'; 'New Fauves' would better meet the meaning of the term). It is characterized by intense subjectivity and rough handling of materials. Neo-expressionism developed as a reaction against conceptual art and minimal art of the 1970s. Neo-expressionists returned to portraying recognizable objects, such as the human body (although sometimes in an abstract manner), in a rough and violently emotional way, often using vivid colors. TVNorge
TVNorge (literally "TVNorway"; originally abbreviated TVN, now just abbreviated N in the logos) is a Norwegian television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA. History TVNorge went on the air on 5 December 1988 and was the first advertising-supported Norwegian channel. The channel was started with 50 000 NOK. The first broadcast was a live variety show from Oslo Cabaret with Swedish singer Lill-Babs and Norwegian pop group Tomboy as musical guests. Ängsbacka
Ängsbacka is a course and festival center focused on personal development, yoga, Tantra, dance, meditation, spirituality and self-expression. It is located in Molkom, Sweden, and was started in 1996. The center hosts an average of eight festivals per year, mainly during the summer. Although Ängsbacka's Tantra Festival is the largest in Sweden, the No Mind Festival is the largest of the festivals with around a thousand participants. Vegetarian food is served. It is registered as a not-for-profit organization owned by members and is run in a large part by volunteers. Magnor Glassworks (''Magnor Glassverk AS'') is a glass company located in Eidskog, in Hedmark county, Norway. Eda glasbruk glassworks factory was first founded in 1830 by Carl Christopher Lampa and Lars Wilhelm Ahlbom in Eda kommun in Värmland County, Sweden. In 1842, new owners took over the glass factory and in 1862 moved a site in Surte, in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. A branch location, first known as Geijer Fors Glass Works, was started in 1896 at Magnor, a village in the municipality of Eidskog, in Hedmark, Norway. Magnor Glassworks was established in a forested area near the border between Norway and Sweden. The large forests supplied fuel for the melting furnaces. While the operations on the Swedish side of the border has ceased, Magnor Glassworks is still in operation and produces tableware, vases and other art objects in glass. Henny Moan (born 22 February 1936) is a Norwegian actress from Finnmark.
