Aşağı Əbdürrəhmanlı (also, Ashaga-Abdurakhmanly and Ashagy Abdurakhmanly) is a village in the Fuzuli District of Azerbaijan. It is currently uninhabited. Fuzuli District
Fuzuli District () is one of the 66 districts of Azerbaijan. It is located in the south-west of the country and belongs to the Karabakh Economic Region. The district borders the districts of Khojavend, Aghjabadi, Beylagan, Jabrayil, and the Ardabil Province of Iran. Its capital is Fuzuli, however since the city is completely ruined following the First Nagorno-Karabakh War, the current '' de facto'' capital is Horadiz until Fuzuli is rebuilt. As of 2020, the district had a nominal population of 133,800. History The western half, including the capital, was captured by Armenian militias and controlled by the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, as a result of the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. Armenian Army
The Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia (, abbreviated ՀՀ ԶՈՒ, ''HH ZU''), sometimes referred to as the Armenian Army (), is the national military of Armenia. It consists of personnel branches under the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, which can be divided into two general branches: the Ground Forces, and the Air Force. First Nagorno-Karabakh War
The First Nagorno-Karabakh War was an ethnic conflict, ethnic and territorial conflict that took place from February 1988 to May 1994, in the enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh in southwestern Azerbaijan, between the majority ethnic Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh backed by Armenia, and the Republic of Azerbaijan with support from Turkey. As the war progressed, Armenia and Azerbaijan, both former Republics of the Soviet Union, Soviet republics, entangled themselves in protracted, undeclared mountain warfare in the mountainous heights of Karabakh as Azerbaijan attempted to curb the secessionist movement in Nagorno-Karabakh.
