AÉ Zakakíou
Athletic Union of Zakaki () is a Cypriot football club based in Zakaki, Limassol. The club was founded in 1956. Their colours are green and white and they play at Zakaki Municipal Stadium, but are currently playing at the larger Ammochostos Stadium in Larnaca. Chairman The Chairman of AEZ Zakakiou, Stelios Christou, holds a unique record. He was one of the founders of the club in 1956, and he has been involved in the management of the club since 1957, and from 1986 leads the club as a chairman. Ammochostos Stadium
Ammochostos Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Larnaca, Cyprus. It is currently used mostly for Association football, football matches and is the temporary home ground of the refugee team from the occupied city of Famagusta, Nea Salamis Famagusta FC, Nea Salamis Famagusta. History The original home ground of Nea Salamis Famagusta FC, Nea Salamina FC was GSE Stadium in Famagusta, but due to the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, Turkish occupation of the town since 1974 they cannot use it. After that, Nea Salamis Famagusta FC, Nea Salamis FC moved, temporarily, to Larnaca and built their own stadium. The decision to build the stadium came in 1989. The December of the same year it started to be built. After many wages offered from Salamis fans in Cyprus and abroad, from Cyprus Sports Association and from many workers it was built in a short time. Cypriot First Division
The Cypriot First Division (), also known as the Cyprus League by Stoiximan for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Cyprus and the highest level of the Cypriot football league system. Operated by the Cyprus Football Association, the league is contested by fourteen teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. The 2016–17 Cypriot First Division was the 78th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. The season began on 20 August 2016 and ended on 21 May 2017. The fixtures were announced on 7 July 2016. APOEL were the defending champions. APOEL were crowned champions for the 26th time and a fifth time in a row, securing the title after beating title arch-rivals Omonia 3–1 at the GSP Stadium on 13 May 2017. 2014–15 Cypriot Second Division
The 2014–15 Cypriot Second Division was the 60th season of the Cypriot second-level football league and it began on 20 September 2014. There was a new league system in place with the eight teams of the B1 Division, merging with the eight teams of the B2 Division, creating a unified Second Division. Before the season, Alki Larnaca was dissolved due to financial problems and AEK Kouklia and AEP Paphos merged to create Pafos FC, reducing the total of clubs competing from 16 to 14. 2013–14 Cypriot Second Division
The 2013–14 Cypriot Second Division was the 59th season of the Cypriot second-level football league. It began on 14 September 2013 and ended on 12 May 2014. There was a new league system in place with the league being split into a two tier system, Divisions B1 and B2. The first two teams of B1 Division were promoted to Cypriot First Division and the last four teams were relegated to B2 Division. The Cypriot Second Division () is the second highest association football, football division of the Cypriot football league system. Administered by the Cyprus Football Association, it is contested by 16 teams, with the top three teams being Promotion and relegation, promoted to the Cypriot First Division and the last three teams being Promotion and relegation, relegated to the Cypriot Third Division. The 2012–13 Cypriot Second Division was the 58th season of the Cypriot second-level football league. It began on 15 September 2012 and ended on 11 May 2013. The defending champions were Doxa Katokopias. The 2011–12 Cypriot Third Division was the 41st season of the Cypriot third-level football league. AEK Kouklia won their 1st title. Format Fourteen teams participated in the 2011–12 Cypriot Third Division. All teams played against each other twice, once at their home and once away.
