Sabirabad District ( az, Sabirabad rayonu) is one of the 66 districts of Azerbaijan. It is located in the centre of the country and belongs to the Mil-Mughan Economic Region. Sabirabad (also, Galagayin, Petropavlovka, and Petropavlovskoye) is a city in and the capital of the Sabirabad District of Azerbaijan. The city was renamed in honor of the poet Mirza Alakbar Sabir. Sabirabad is the administrative center of Sabirabad District of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 1935, the district received the status of subordinate city. Pankration
Pankration (; el, παγκράτιον) was a sporting event introduced into the Greek Olympic Games in 648 BC, which was an empty-hand submission sport with few rules. The athletes used boxing and wrestling techniques but also others, such as kicking, holds, joint-locks, and chokes on the ground, making it similar to modern mixed martial arts.
