Yasser Ayyash
Yasser Ayyash (born December 4, 1955, in Shatana in Irbid, Jordan) is a former archbishop of the Melkite Greek Catholic Archeparchy of Petra and Philadelphia in Amman and the current Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarchal Archeparchy of Jerusalem. Priest The young Yasser Ayyash attended the school of Greek Catholics in his Shatana hometown. Later he continued his education in Beit Sahour and Bethlehem, where he obtained his baccalaureate degree. Ayyash studied theology and biblical studies in Lebanon, he finished studying in Rome with the completion of a bachelor's degree in philosophy and theology at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome. In 1983 he was ordained a deacon in Rome, and to the priesthood on July 12, 1987 in Amman. It was followed by an extended use in parishes and schools in the capital Amman and Jerash. Yahya Ayyash
Yahya Abd-al-Latif Ayyash (, ; 6 March 1966 – 5 January 1996) was the chief bombmaker of Hamas and the leader of the West Bank battalion of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades. In that capacity, he earned the nickname "the Engineer" (). Ayyash is credited with advancing the technique of suicide bombings against Israel by Palestinian militant groups. The bombings he orchestrated killed approximately 90 Israelis, many of them civilians. He was assassinated by the Shin Bet on January 5, 1996, through a booby-trapped mobile phone. Ayyash is celebrated by local Palestinian communities who have named streets and other locales in his honor. His name was also given to the rocket Ayyash-250 produced by Hamas. Salim Ayyash
Salim Jamil Ayyash (; 10 November 1963 – 9 November 2024) was a Lebanese militant and senior Hezbollah military operative, who served as the head of its assassination squad Unit 121. He is best known for his indictment by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon as one of the major individuals involved in the assassination of the Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri. Following the publishing of his name by the investigation from the Tribunal, Ayyash went into hiding and never appeared in front of the Tribunal, and a second indictment was confirmed against him in another case on 15 May 2019 by the Tribunal. He was tried ''in absentia''. Rewards for Justice Program is offering $10 million for information on him. On 9 November 2024, he was killed by an Israeli air strike in Syria. Ayyash Ibn Abi Rabiah
} ʿAyyāsh ibn Abī Rabīʿa () was one of the Islamic prophet Muhammad's companions who converted to Islam before the migration to Medina. He was also a half brother of Abu Jahl as they shared the same mother, and his paternal cousin. Imprisonment by Abu Jahl Ayyash was one of the immigrants who went to Medina before Muhammad. He migrated with Umar ibn Khattab. Abu Jahl decided to get him back and spread a false story that Ayyash's mother was ill. Abu Jahl went to Medina with his brother Harith and told Ayyash that his mother was ill. Umar warned Ayyash not to go, and gave his own healthy camel to Ayyash to help him escape if needed. On the way to Mecca, Abu Jahl tied Ayyash and took him to Mecca and then imprisoned him. Ayyash Al-Haj
Ayyash Al-Haj Hussein Al-Jassim () was a Syrian revolutionary who led the armed struggle against the French in Deir al-Zour Governorate in 1925 during the Great Syrian Revolt. He was sent into exile to Jableh in western Syria with his family after they were convicted of planning and carrying out future rebellions against the French. They also sentenced his eldest son Mohammed to 20 years in prison on the island of Arwad, and executed his son Mahmoud by shooting with several other revolutionaries. Shortly after Al-Haj and his family were sent to Jableh, he was assassinated by the French authorities in a café outside of the city by poisoning his coffee, and prevented the transfer of his body to his hometown in Deir Ez-zor for reasons of public security. He was buried in Jableh in the cemetery of Sultan Ibrahim ibn Adham Mosque where the absent prayers held for the spirit of this martyr mujahid in all the Syrian cities. Mohammed Emad Ayash
Muhammad (8 June 632 CE) was an Arab religious and political leader and the founder of Islam. According to Islam, he was a prophet who was divinely inspired to preach and confirm the monotheistic teachings of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets. He is believed to be the Seal of the Prophets in Islam, and along with the Quran, his teachings and normative examples form the basis for Islamic religious belief.
