Ayoub Barraj
Ayoub Barraj (born 27 May 1997) is a Tunisian freestyle wrestler. At the African Wrestling Championships he won a total of four medals: three gold medals and one bronze medal. Career He represented Tunisia at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China without winning a medal. He finished in fifth place in the boys' freestyle 76kg event. In 2015, he won one of the bronze medals in the 74kg event at the African Wrestling Championships held in Alexandria, Egypt. In 2018, he won the gold medal in the 74kg event at the African Wrestling Championships held in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He also won the gold medal in the 79 kg event in 2019 and 2020. He represented Tunisia at the 2019 African Games held in Rabat, Morocco and he won the gold medal in the men's freestyle 86kg event. In the final, he defeated Fateh Benferdjallah of Algeria. The 2021 World Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament was the last wrestling qualification tournament for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. The event was held from 6 to 9 May 2021, in Sofia, Bulgaria. Qualification summary A total of 36 athletes secured a spot in the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Tokyo, Japan. Two spots were given to each of the weight classes in every event. This allows a total of 12 available spots for each event. Augusto Midana (born 20 May 1984 in Sucuto-Nhacra) is a freestyle wrestler from Guinea-Bissau who competes in the men's middleweight (-74 kg) category. He represented Guinea-Bissau in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, and was the flagbearer for his nation during the opening ceremonies of those games. He competed again at the 2012 Summer Olympics, finishing in 7th place. He once again competed for Guinea-Bissau at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
