Ayobo is a town with about 10 sub-towns under it. Megida, Isefun, Olorunisola, Bada, Sabo, Kande-Ijon, Orisumbare-Ijon, Jagundeyi, Alaja, etc. Megida and Isefun are the most prominent towns under Ayobo. Megida is the capital and commercial city of Ayobo, the home of the Anchor University. While Isefun/Kande-Ijon are the homes to one of the modern Lagos water ways (under construction). Alimosho
Alimosho is a Local Government Area in Lagos State, Nigeria with the largest population of about 3,082,900 which is according to Population 019''– Projection'' The 2006 Census says the population was 1,288,714 (but the Lagos State Government argued that the population as at 2006 within the LGA was more than 2 million residents). It has now been subdivided between several Local Community Development Areas (LCDA). The LCDA restructuring kicked off after the administration of Bola Ilori, who was the last chairman of the old single Alimosho Local Government. The six sub-divisions created out of the old Alimosho are: Agbado/Oke-odo LCDA, Ayobo/Ipaja LCDA, Alimosho LG, Egbe/Idimu LCDA, Ikotun/Igando LCDA and Mosan Okunola LCDA. Anchor University, Lagos
The Anchor University is a private Christian university owned by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry. The university is located at Ayobo, Ipaja, Lagos State, southwestern Nigeria. History The process of founding Anchor University billed for September 2012, but suffered a huge setback as the representatives of the NUC coming for final inspection and approval of their multi-billion projects were in the ill-fated Dana Air crash. Professor Celestine Onwuliri, husband of a serving minister and an executive director with the Nigerian Universities Commission was among the over 157 victims that died in the Dana Air crash which occurred on Sunday, June 3, 2012.
